Your Vicar

Revd. Dr Brian Shand has been Vicar of All Saints since 2001. Originally a modern linguist, he was a university and school teacher and also worked in Public Relations before training for the ordained ministry. Subsequently, he provided the vision for the innovatory ‘Nave’ Christian arts centre in Uxbridge and was Religious Programmes Producer at BBC Radio Surrey on behalf of the Diocese of Guildford. In 1994 Brian became Vicar of All Saints Weston Green where he remained for six years.

Brian has combined his ministry in Witley with training as a group analytic psychotherapist. Among his other interests are astronomy, history, painting, tennis, aircraft and cars.

Brian is keen to welcome and create dialogue with people who have not had much experience of Christianity or churchgoing and also to educate and deepen the faith of more committed church members. He also wants All Saints to be a place where people of all ages can mix.'
